Art  Abington

Art has been a member of the Rocky Mountain Swing Dance Club since he moved to Denver from Tulsa in April, 2006.  Art started dancing WCS in 2004 and joined the Tulsa Swing Club (TSC) where he was a part-time DJ and Member of the Year for 2005.  Since joining RMSDC, Art has been one of the club DJ’s and has served as a member of the RMSDC board as Publicity Chairperson, Vice President, and currently as Secretary.  Art assisted with Swingtime in the Rockies in 2006 and 2007.  In 2008 he helped plan, publicize, and organize the event as a member of the Swingtime Steering Committee.  Art is computer systems consultant specializing in corporate email systems, virtualization, and collaboration systems.
