Karen has been a member of the RMSDC since 2000. This is her second year on the RMSDC board. She began Country dancing in 1999 with
Jo Thompson as her line dance choreographer and Kevin Whiteley as her ProAm instructor. She now works on 6 different dances with her current pro, Toby
Munroe. She loves learning about all kinds of dance (she's currently taking ballet and Hip-hop, too!) and
continues to strive to be the best dancer she can be, both socially and competitively. She has graduate
degrees in both Literacy and IT-School Media which support her day job as a school librarian working at Birch Elementary
in Broomfield.
