Shane "Mac" McIntyre

Shane is a native Australian, born and raised in Sydney amongst a dancing family. He has been involved in dancing since pre teens and has been competing for many years in various styles of partner dancing. Shane performed in many major events, like the US open, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2000 Olympics to an audience of 110,000 spectators and worldwide television coverage, National Television in South America & the Pioneer in bringing WCS & Modern Jive to Uruguay.  Both Shane & Keri were also the Pioneers in bringing WCS to Italy in 2012.

Shane is an accomplished choreographer, having won Team events and Showcase Performances. He choreographed for the Sydney Performing Arts and various secondary schools in Australia while operating two dance schools with a staff of ten people and over 130 students. Shane & Keri have placed at the US Open, the premier event for Swing dancing.

Through his success, Shane has shared in the experience of music and dance, traveling all over Australia, New Zealand, the UK, North and South America, Germany, Italy & France to judge, choreograph, run workshops, and perform with his Dance / Business Partner Keri & work with many professional dancers from all Genres.  

Shane resides in Denver, Colorado teaching, performing & still traveling too many parts of the world with Keri Mclean, Dance & Business partner for Gravity Dance Productions, which also runs  a successful school program in Colorado.   When not on the dance floor, Shane can be found tearing up the Colorado slopes on his snowboard.  Shane has been an active member of the RMSDC club since arriving in Denver in 2007.
