Patti Thompson 

 

Patti Thompson (formerly Mulholland) has enjoyed 20 years of successful competitive couples dancing.  She began her career in San Diego, CA where she participated on UCSD's Ballroom Dance Team and trained to receive her Bronze level medals in Latin and Smooth under the direction of Michael Kheim at the Starlight Dance Studio.  Over the years, she has trained and competed in three popular styles of couples dancing including Ballroom, Country Western, and West Coast Swing.  She retired from competing in the top three professional divisions of the UCWDC: Masters Classic, Masters Showcase, and Professional 8 Dance in 2007.  She currently competes in the All-Star and Champions divisions of the World Swing Dance Council.

Patti is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Swing Dance Club and was awarded Member of the Year in 2007.  Patti believes that there is always something new to learn and seeks coaching to improve and challenge her dance skills regularly.  She believes in the importance of leading and following and works on these skills with each of her students.  Currently, Patti teaches private lessons at Colorado Dancesport on the south west corner of Belleview and Federal.  For questions or to set up your private lesson today, contact Patti at pattiann_dance@hotmail.com or 303-667-1136.  You will not be disappointed with her ability to skillfully share the art of partner dancing!
