Long ago, in a far away place a young married man lived with that special
someone who decided that she no longer wished to be that special someone
within his life. Up until that time this young man had dabbled in country two-step,
and he frequently watched from a distance, in amazement, a dance he
understood was called West Coast Swing. It was such a fluid, magical dance,
and everyone he saw partaking in it seemed quite happy, and emotionally
filled with the joy of the moment. So, when that special someone departed
from his life, this young man finally started his journey, and enrolled in a West
Coast Swing dance class. To his amazement, the dance was even more fun
and fluid than he had imagined. But, even more, the people he met, were
fascinating, motivated, interesting people with intelligent backgrounds. As the
years passed he made many friends, attended many events, and experienced
the joy of West Coast Swing. So, he decided to give back a little to this happy community of friends
and dancers, and that is why he decided to become membership chairman of the Rocky Mountain
Swing Dance Club (RMSDC). It is his hope to bring a sense of love and community to the many
fascinating members of RMSDC. And, that’s his story, and he’s sticking to it.
