Richard started West Coast Swing dancing in Denver in 1989 and was one of the
founding members of RMSDC. He served on the RMSDC Board as Treasurer in 1993
and later as Vice President in 1994, 1999 and 2000. In 1994, he headed our
dance convention and was the treasurer for the convention from 2000 - 2003.
Richard was honored as RMSDC member of the year in 2001.
In 2001, when Larry Waters was our full time DJ, Richard started inviting guest
DJ's to supplement Larry and was one of the guest DJs to participate at that
time. For the past year heI has participated once again as a DJ for the club.
