Here at the beautiful historic Turnverein we have one of the premier dance facilities in Denver! Members pay only $5 at our weekly Sunday dances as opposed to guests or non-members paying $10. Membership yearly dues are $50 or $40 for military or 65 and older. Our members start saving money their tenth visit (which is coming almost once per month) not to mention additional saved on workshops and the ability to support a great local healthy activity!
RMSDC Members also receive a discount to all the other dance club events held at the Turnverein to include ballroom, salsa, tango, lindy hop, and country dance night (which includes west coast swing dancing as part of their genre of dances).
We support a learning environment to help make dancing more enjoyable on many levels-safety, comfort, and fun.
Members receive discounts on special events or guest instructor workshop weekends and the ability to enter into contests for free passes to big events in Denver.
As a member in good standing having paid dues for the current year, having attended at least one Sunday dance in that year and having been a member for at least 30 days, are entitled to vote for board of directors in August on the day of the annual meeting (usually the first or second Sunday of the month).
A member has the opportunity to be appointed by the President to assist with the annual Board elections.
The Rocky Mountain Swing Dance Club operates by volunteers. We help each other out in setting up & cleaning up after dances, preparing refreshments, organizing fun events, scrapbooking, and much more. When you volunteer you make new friends and network.
